The 31st Annual Remembrance Service. The Dublin Diocesan Music Group will lead the music and the liturgy will be prepared by present and past students of Mater Dei (now DCU). This service was originally inaugurated to remember deceased church musicians but the attendance and the focus has expanded over the years. However this year we will remember in a particular way the late Father Jerry Threadgold who contributed so much to the development of liturgical music in Ireland in an understated way and in Dublin as Director of Music at a very crucial time.
