Faith and Culture – An evening of Archives (documents from the Famine to the Vietnam War). Literature (poetry and short dramatic scenes) Music (live from different ethnic communities and a concert featuring the Dublin Diocesan Music Group singing songs where faith and culture meet. All in the corridors and rooms of Clonliffe College, Drumcondra on Friday 22 September.
• 6.00 and 7.00. Mingle with some of the ‘new Irish communities’ and savour their music and song.
• 6.30 and 7.30. Explore with Noelle Dowling, Diocesan Archivist, church responses to various crises over the years especially the Vietnam War reflecting the dialogue between church and society.
• 6.30 and 7.30. Poetry and short dramatic scenes
• 8.15. Enjoy a concert of music featuring the Dublin Diocesan Music Group singing songs where faith and culture meet such as Nature Boy popularised by Nat King Cole and Leonard Cohen’s Anthem (Forget Your Perfect Offering)
