Review of Autumn Liturgy Seminar

More than 40 people attended the Autumn Liturgy Seminar held at Ard Scoil Rís last Saturday. ‘It is great to be back again’ was a familiar greeting on the day.

Attached are two handouts from the day. One picks up on what we can do as partnerships in the area of liturgy and music. This initiative can be followed up by our working in individual partnerships with all the assembled Music and Liturgy people to see what emerges from the group. Contact me directly to arrange such a visit and gathering – pat.odonoghue@dublindiocese.ie.

The other handouts are from our Technical Adviser on the day – Mark Brady from Bonnybrook Parish (Chair of the PPC) who showed how to use slides during liturgy. His sensitivity and respect about the liturgy was tangible. We also experimented on the creation of suitable posters/flyers and the use of social media to extend the outreach to a wider audience.

Anne McLean who led the prayer sessions touched many people and afforded an oasis of peace on the busy morning.
