Funeral Leaders Course

Funeral Leaders Courses 60 people from a range of parishes attended the first module for the training of funeral leaders in Mount Merrion last month. EMMANUEL 2024 – RECORDINGS

Past Emmanuel Students are helping once again with the vocal recordings for Emmanuel 2024. They are guided by Ian Callanan, Music Director of the programme, to ensure that they are ready for the launch with Teachers on 12 September. This will take place in OLV Church, Ballymun Road at 1.30p.m.

Keep the Music Going It is important to have music at the usual celebrations even when the music people are on summer holidays. A good cantor can keep the music going. You might find some new talent home in the parish for the summer. Keep your ear to the ground.

Feedback on Common Mass Parts

There has been some positive feedback on the idea of Parish Partnerships exploring an agreed Mass Setting for their communities. Sing the Mass is the national book to use for research with its variety of settings and styles.
