As you may know, Father Damian McNeice will take up a new appointment next weekend as Parish Priest in the parishes of Castleknock and Laurel Lodge.
After three years of liturgical study at San Anselmo in Rome, Damian has spent the last 14 years as a valued team member in the Liturgy Resource Centre. In that time he has been most generous in sharing his many gifts with others liturgically, artistically and spiritually. His work as Master of Ceremonies brought him into contact with almost every parish in the Diocese. He will be greatly missed both professionally and personally.
Damian has agreed to come back on Tuesday 14 September – the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross – so that we can truly say ‘well done’ to him in person and as we wish him well in his new appointments.
Lisia has kindly agreed to arrange cards and to facilitate our thanksgiving, if you wish, by way of a gift.
(You may not know that Damian also worked in the Communications Office for 7 years having graduated in Journalism from DCU – so maybe there is a book in him to commemorate the past 24 years in the Diocese)
With kind regards
Pat O’Donoghue
